Join Sean and Deirdre Murtha for an afternoon of sea chanteys and songs of the sea, evoking the everyday lives

of sailors, whalers and fisherman from the days of sail.  Chanteys, which were sailors' songs, are infectiously rhythmic and have simple repeating choruses, perfect for singing along!  Sean and Deirdre accompany themselves

on authentic instruments of the time including banjo, mandolin, fiddle and bones.

Presented by the Friends of Greenwich Point and the Bruce Museum. For more information, please call Peter Linderoth at 203-413-6742 or email plinderoth@brucemuseum.org.
