Join us this winter to help cut back invasive vines and shrubs at Greenwich Point. This is important work that allows us to make space for more native shrubs and trees in the areas we clear.
We will be meeting at the Holly Grove entrance at 10AM each session. If you arrive after 10AM, please look for a note on the Holly Grove bulletin board telling you where we are working. We will provide some gloves and clippers but feel free to bring your own!

Volunteers are needed to protect the point at Greenwich Point on Saturday, February 7th from 9am to 12pm. Join the Friends of Greenwich Point to use recycled Christmas trees to protect plantings and other vegetation around the Point.

Mindfulness Class
A Mindfulness Class at the Point with Dr. Nancy Boksenbaum
Come to the Point and awaken your senses with simple mindfulness practices.
Time in nature lifts your mood, calms your nervous system, and inspires awe. Friends of Greenwich Point is hosting a mindfulness class at Greenwich Point on November 11th from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the Innis Arden Cottage.
Dr. Nancy Boksenbaum, a local Mindfulness teacher, will lead the class to help you more fully appreciate nature and all the Point has to offer. You will learn a variety of introductory practices to befriend your breath, settle your mind, and enhance your experience of the beauty and sounds at the Point.
