As a result of Hurricane Sandy there has been a significant loss of beach side plantings at Greenwich Point.  In order to prevent further dune erosion, the Friends of Greenwich Point, Greenwich Green and Clean and the Conservation Commission have organized another dune grass planting event.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the dune grass planting, April 6 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Volunteers will meet at the Innis Arden Cottage where they will receive information regarding the Greenwich Point dune system and issued dune grass seedlings and planting instruction and equipment.
