Celebrate International Horseshoe Crab Day

Saturday June 20

11:30 am - 1pm

Beach Near Old Greenwich Yacht Club

Join Sarah Coccaro of the Greenwich Conservation Commission to learn about horseshoe crabs and their benefits to our coastal ecosystem in celebration of International Horseshoe Crab Day, a worldwide day to raise public awareness about the challenges this ancient species faces for survival. Help Sarah count horseshoe crabs and discover more about their habitat, diet, history, lifecycle and conservation.

Swing by and chat with Sarah near the OG Yacht Club dock between the parking lot and the Chimes Building anytime between 11:30 and 1pm. This is an informal Q&A event with no formal presentations. Please wear a mask and maintain a social distance of 6 feet.
